Find out if snowshoes are your style at the Schweitzer Mountain Snowshoe Festival next weekend.

Try out various snowshoe models supplied by Tubbs Snowshoes and The Outdoor Experience of Sandpoint. Or take the extra step to participate in snowshoe events:

Saturday - Snowshoe obstacle course at 10 a.m.; nature hike at noon; kids scavenger hunt at 2 p.m.

Next Sunday - Poker run at 10 a.m.; beginner snowshoeing instruction at noon; nature hike at 1 p.m.
