Bank Plans To Close Cashmere Branch

Washington Trust Bank will close its Cashmere branch in May, but continue to serve that community and Leavenworth from Wenatchee, Vice President Lea Werner said Tuesday.

The branch’s three employees will be transferred into one of the five branches in the Wenatchee area, she said.

Werner said Spokane-based Washington Trust is studying the configuration of its branches in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee, and possible expansion.

The bank now has 31 branches between Cashmere and Coeur d’Alene. , DataTimes
