The San Diego Chargers filled one of their most critical off-season needs by signing former Pittsburgh Steelers’ left tackle John Jackson to a six-year contract worth $26 million.

The New York Giants restructured the contract of linebacker Jesse Armstead, after he played in his first Pro Bowl and set a team record for tackles in a season.

The new contract is for five years and worth around $15 million.

Green Bay Packers running back Travis Jervey faces a March 10 court date following his arrest Tuesday night on charges of speeding and possession of marijuana.

Free-agent cornerback Jeff Burris signed with the Indianapolis Colts, who made him one of the highest-paid defensive backs in the NFL with a $20 million, five-year contract, according to several reports.
