Man Robs North Side Grocery

A man robbed a north Spokane grocery store Wednesday evening, Spokane police said.

The man entered the Yoke’s Pac ‘N Save Foods, 4507 W. Wellesley, about 7:50 p.m. and passed a note to a store cashier demanding money, police said.

He told the cashier he had a weapon, but one wasn’t displayed. The man escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 180 pounds with a moss green coat and a stocking cap.
