Mpm To Buy Assets Of New Jersey Firm

MPM Technologies, Inc. of Spokane announced Wednesday that it will purchase the assets of a New Jersey air pollution control company for an undisclosed amount of cash.

The acquisition will add to MPM’s existing air pollution control system subsidiary, Huntington Environmental Systems, based in Shaumburg, Ill.

RaySolv, of Piscataway, N J., specializes in designing manufacturing, and installing systems for cleaning air of solvents such as paint residues. In its 27-year history, it has served customers such as General Motors Corp., Union Carbide Corp. and Aluminum Company of America.

MPM Technologies, headquartered in Spokane, is a holding company with three subsidiaries: Huntington Environmental Systems; New Power Inc., which converts carbon-based waste into clean burning fuel; and MPM Mining.
