Old Memories Surface With Wayward Wallet
A recliner sold at a rummage sale harbored a secret treasure for 14 years.
When Mark Lange tipped the chair in search of a lost toy last month, he found a wallet containing $500.
It belonged to Milford Tallman, who died 12 years ago. Lange returned it to Tallman’s sister, DeLores Secrist, a few days later.
‘When something like this happens, it gives you faith in the human race,” she said.
Secrist remembered that her brother came to visit her in 1984 and couldn’t find his wallet when he left for Minneapolis.
