A semitruck hit a pickup and jackknifed along Interstate 90 near Lookout Pass late Wednesday, slowing traffic along the hill, Idaho State Police troopers said.
The semitruck was attempting to pass the pickup in the westbound lanes of I-90 about 7:30 p.m. when the pickup drifted into its path. The pickup was hit and the tractor-trailer jackknifed in the roadway, troopers said.
The driver of the semi, Doyle Reeves, 41, of Orchard, Wash., was uninjured.
The pickup driver, Aubrey Head, 71, of Auburn, Wash., was transported to Silver Valley Hospital in Shoshone County with minor injuries.
