Dressed To Kill

Highly anticipated London Fashion Week kicked off on a note of rich glamour Saturday. Amanda Wakeley produced the fluid gowns in luxury fabrics that made her a favorite of Princess Diana, then tempted the business-with-attitude set with a pin-striped wraparound design, above. Matthew Williamson, who burst onto the British fashion scene last season, showed colorful silks and cashmere knits.
