Colfax Upends Garfield-Palouse

Colfax received friendly treatment on the road as league favorites met Saturday in Palouse.

The Bulldogs (6-1) of the Northeast A League outscored Garfield-Palouse 13-6 at the free-throw line to notch a 53-44 non-league victory.

Brent Damery scored 21 for Colfax, which has won five straight. Gar-Pal (4-3), favored in the Whitman County League, had a four-game winning streak snapped.
