Isu Player Pleads Guilty
Idaho State University’s leading scorer and rebounder, Tywan Meadows, has been suspended indefinitely from the basketball team after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance.
According to Idaho Falls police reports, a Peppertree Lounge employee called authorities Dec. 20, saying he believed men were smoking marijuana in the restroom.
Officers approached Meadows and asked if he was carrying weapons or drugs. Meadows said he was not, and was asked to empty his pockets. A plastic bag containing what officers believed to be marijuana fell out.
