Bucs at Packers (9:30 a.m., Fox)

Line: Packers by 14

Last meeting: Packers won, 17-6, at Tampa Bay on Dec. 7.

Key stat: Green Bay has won 10 of last 11 from Tampa Bay.

Worth watching: Packers quarterback Brett Favre, who has never lost a home game when the game-time temperature is below 35 degrees. Tampa Bay rookie running back Warrick Dunn was the offensive rookie of the year, but tailed off in the second half of the season. The Bucs need to control the ball.

Outlook: Green Bay begins defense of its Super Bowl title at Lambeau Field, where it has won 26 straight, including three in the playoffs. Defensive tackle Gilbert Brown returns from a knee injury to plug up the middle of the line. Tampa was 5-0 when it visited Green Bay in October, but that loss presaged a tough second half (Bucs are 6-6 since their 5-0 start). This will be Packers’ last game at Lambeau this year; the 49ers’ victory Saturday means the NFC championship game will be played in San Francisco.

Broncos at Chiefs (1 p.m., NBC)

Line: Chiefs by 1

Last meeting: Chiefs won, 24-22, at Kansas City on Nov. 16.

Key stat: Kansas City is one of four teams unbeaten at home this season (others are Denver, Green Bay, San Francisco).

Worth watching: Chiefs’ Marcus Allen, trying to get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since his second year (1983 season), was third in NFL with 11 rushing touchdowns. Broncos counter with AFC-leading rusher Terrell Davis (4.7 ypc).

Outlook: Davis is coming off bruised ribs, but he’s healthy. He’s a tough inside runner who sets everything up for John Elway. Chiefs are going with Elvis Grbac at quarterback, but he was erratic two weeks ago in his first game back from a broken collarbone. True, Chiefs won most recent meeting, but needed a 54-yard field goal by Pete Stoyanovich on the final play to do it. The Broncos have regrouped.
