Reward Offered In Women’s Murders

Secret Witness is offering $2,000 to anyone who can help solve the murders of Laurie Ann Wason and Shawn Ann McClenahan.

Their bodies were found Dec. 26 off 14th Avenue at the southeast edge of the city.

The deaths of Wason and McClenahan are the latest in a series of homicides involving Spokane County women. A task force is investigating 18 similar killings that have been unsolved since 1984. Seven of them have occurred in the past five months.

Anyone with information should call Secret Witness at 327-5111. Callers do not have to give their names to be eligible for a reward.
