Vandals Hit Park With Racist Graffiti

Vandals spray painted racist graffiti late last week at Manito Park, police said Saturday.

Officers found swastikas and other symbols scrawled on the Conservatory building’s windows, portions of the refreshment stand and signs in the Duncan Gardens area.

The vandalism happened either New Year’s Day or early Friday morning, police said. Park crews have since removed the graffiti.
