Woman A Suspect In Second Robbery

A woman who robbed a bank in a north Spokane supermarket Wednesday morning is a suspect in a similar holdup about three weeks ago, the FBI said.

The woman is white, about 25 years old and 5 feet 3 inches tall with dark brown hair, a heavy build and acne scars on her face.

She was wearing a stocking cap, white sweat shirt and sweat pants.

At 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, the woman handed a note to a teller at the Washington Mutual Bank branch in the Rosauers store at 9414 N. Division, police said.

The robber, who did not display a weapon, escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

She also is suspected of robbing Inland Northwest Bank in the Yoke’s supermarket on Indian Trail Road on Dec. 15.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233 or the FBI at 747-5195.
