John Sullivan Named New Deputy Chief

From Staff Reports

Spokane Police Capt. John Sullivan will take over later this month as deputy police chief.

Chief Terry Mangan chose Sullivan to replace Larry Hersom, who retires Jan. 20.

Sullivan, a 24-year veteran, has spent the past two years improving police record-keeping and retrieval systems, Assistant Chief Roger Bragdon said Thursday.

“John is very energetic and a very solid individual,” City Manager Bill Pupo said.
