Evander Holyfield’s next fight could be a “command performance” for Nelson Mandela, president of South Africa.

It would match Holyfield against Francois Botha of South Africa.

“The fight has the support of Nelson Mandela, who has personally called Evander Holyfield,” said Jay Larkin, executive vice president for sports for Showtime.

“The fight is in the process of being made and it will be held,” promoter Don King said.

King wasn’t sure of the site, but said it would be held in May.
