Campbell Lifts Xplosion

Edna Campbell scored 14 of her 26 points in the first quarter Saturday as the visiting Colorado Xplosion defeated the Philadelphia Rage 83-75 and put a damper on Dawn Staley Night.

The Xplosion jumped to a 22-8 lead 5:43 into the game, and ended the first quarter ahead 25-18, thanks to four of Campbell’s six 3-pointers. Staley electrified the crowd with a half-court shot to end the first quarter and finished with seven points and 11 assists.
