Ewu Hears Good News From Cda Recruit

Coeur d’Alene’s Kurt Sigler orally committed Tuesday to play football at Eastern Washington University.

Sigler, 6-4 and 265 pounds, was a two-way starter at CdA. EWU plans to play Sigler at offensive tackle, CdA coach Shawn Amos said.

“Paul Wulff (offensive line coach) told me that Kurt was the top lineman they were recruiting,” Amos said.

NCAA rules prohibit colleges from talking about recruits until letters of intent have been signed. The signing period is early next month.

Sigler was an all-Inland Empire and All-North Idaho first-team selection. He also was honorable mention All-State.
