Lidgerwood Presbyterian Holds Western Shindig Wednesday

Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church is inviting people of all ages to don their Western duds and come out for a “Regular Ol’ Hoedown” at the church on Wednesday. The evening begins at 6 p.m. and will include music and a potluck dinner.

The tunes will be performed by Wes Hughes and the Perry Road Ramblers. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share and a fun, loving attitude. All are welcome.

Lecture at Gonzaga University

Gonzaga University will host a lecture today on the Catholic Church’s role in the political process on state and national levels. The lecture will be presented by Sister Sharon Park, executive director of the Washington State Catholic Conference.

The free lecture will be in the Jepson Center auditorium on the Gonzaga campus at 7 p.m. The public is welcome.
