Blizzard Knocks Out Power Behind Jones’ 31 Points

Carolyn Jones scored a game-high 31 points Thursday as the New England Blizzard rode a fourth-quarter rally to a 77-69 victory over the Portland Power.

New England (17-16) was down 38-32 at the half, but outscored Portland (19-15) 26-14 in the fourth quarter, with Jones scoring 12 points in each of the last two periods. Jennifer Rizzotti added 11 points and a season-high 11 assists for New England, who climbed above the .500 mark for the first time since Dec. 3.
