‘Wag The Dog’ A Witty Take On Politics

“Wag the Dog” recalls the days of classic political satire. Working from a David Mamet script, Barry Levinson cast Robert DeNiro as a specialist in fixing political scandals. When the president is accused of sexual assault, he decides to start a war. Or at least the appearance of one. Dustin Hoffman plays the Hollywood producer hired to make it happen.
