Allen, Blotsky Key North Central Win

GSL boys

Chris Allen scored 23 points and Chris Blotsky added 19 points as North Central defeated Rogers 70-58 Friday in a GSL boys basketball game.

The visiting Indians (4-6, 4-4) led from the outset, despite Jason Ridley’s career-high 24 points for the Pirates (7-3, 5-3).

Brad Hodl scored a season-high 22 points, including six 3-pointers in the second half, to lead the third-ranked Saxons (9-1, 7-1) past the Titans (1-7, 1-9) at University.

Andre Atkins had 14 of his 17 in the first half for Ferris. Jake Roberts led University with 10 points.

Shane Hartnett scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, but the Bullpups (3-7, 3-5) couldn’t hold off the visiting Panthers (7-3, 6-2).

Mark Stenerson was perfect on eight free-throw attempts and led Mead with 18 points.
