Plu Women Prevail

Tara Millet turned in career highs with 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead Pacific Lutheran’s women to a 75-47 NCIC basketball win over visiting Whitworth.

Millet, a sophomore, and freshman Betsy Ruud combined to score 22 points as the Lutes (9-4, 5-1) jumped out to a 44-23 halftime lead.

Star Olson tossed in 15 points to pace the Pirates (4-7, 3-2).
