Spokane Man Hospitalized After Struck By Car

A 38-year-old Spokane man was hit by a car and hospitalized on Saturday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A patrol news release said Lenny Blair suffered a fractured left leg and head injuries after running in front of, and being struck by, a car driven by Eric Ford, 19, of Fairchild Air Force Base. Blair was taken to Deaconess Medical Center where he was in stable condition on Sunday night.

The accident occurred on State Route 2 at Rambo Road. Ford’s 1990 Nissan Centra suffered $3,500 in damage and was towed.
