Wwp Plans Brief Power Outages

About 200 Washington Water Power customers living east of Sandpoint will be without electricity for a short time on Jan. 23.

WWP is planning an outage for 9 a.m. to do maintenance on a power line that serves customers off State Highway 200. The outage will last about 10 minutes and affect homes on Kaniksu Shores, Sunnyside Road and Sunnyside Cutoff Road.

Another 30 customers who live on West Oden Bay Road will also be without power for about three hours, WWP officials said. The electrical system in the Oden Bay area is being improved.
