The Green Bay Packers were favored by 11 points over the Denver Broncos on Thursday by Ladbrokes, the British bookmaker. In Las Vegas, about half the sports books also had the Packers as 11-point favorites, while others had them favored by 12 points. As for side bets, Packers running back Dorsey Levens, above, was Ladbrokes’ favorite to score the first touchdown. The wildest bet? How about 150-1 on the Packers’ defensive lineman Gilbert Brown scoring the first touchdown?
