Bach Festival In 20th Season

The Northwest Bach Festival will open its 20th season in Spokane on Wednesday with an introductory lecture to the festival’s music by Karen Walthinsen, baroque violinist and Eastern Washington University musicologist. The lecture will be given in the EWU Music Building, room 248, on the Cheney campus.

The festival will continue Thursday with a master class for pianists by Bach Festival artist Veronica Jochum at noon in the EWU Music Building Recital Hall in Cheney.

Both events are free.
