Israeli Education Minister Zevulun Hammer, a founder of the Jewish settlement movement in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, died Tuesday of cancer. He was 62.
Jack Lord, the no-nonsense “Hawaii Five-O” detective whose “Book ‘em, Danno!” ended most episodes of TV’s longest-running crime show, died Wednesday in Honolulu at age 77.
Art Freeborg, one of the last members of the 1931 Washington State Rose Bowl team, died Monday. He was 87.
