Driver Critical

U.S. F2000 driver Thiago Bezerra of Brazil remained in critical condition in the intensive care unit at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Bezerra, 20, sustained a severe head injury when he crashed during the 40th lap of Saturday’s US F2000 National Championship race at Walt Disney World Speedway. He was knocked unconscious, regained consciousness, but lapsed back into unconsciousness before being flown by helicopter to the hospital.
