Time Is Now To Nominate A Youth For Chase Award

It’s time.

Time to put aside the stereotypes. Time to look beyond the headlines. Time to recognize children and teens for the good things they do.

It’s time to nominate a worthy young person for a Chase Youth Award.

The 11th annual Chase Youth Awards recognize young people for their personal achievements and contributions to the community in categories ranging from citizenship and community services to courage, creativity and leadership.

Anyone may nominate a young person for an award. All nominees will be honored at the awards ceremony and winners will receive medallions and $100 savings bonds.

So grab a nomination form, which will be available in The Spokesman-Review on Friday and again on Feb. 8, or nominate someone on-line at www.spokanecity.org/youth by clicking on “Take a Bow.”

Deadline for nominations is Feb. 17.
