Sometimes all it takes to come up with a new food product is putting the old stuff in a different shape.

Keebler’s Cookie Stix, which one member of The Spokesman-Review’s reader food panel deemed “elongated Chips Ahoy,” are designed to appeal to kids. But panelists had a swell time with them, dunking the little logs into their instant cappuccino.

Just think of them as baby biscotti.
