Woman Killed In Accident

A Potlatch, Idaho, woman was killed when her car slid on an icy road Wednesday in Whitman County, Washington State Patrol troopers said.

Jenny Spiles-Hudson, 21, was killed about 7:30 a.m. on state Highway 27, about a half-mile south of Oakesdale, troopers said.

She was northbound on Highway 27 when she lost control of her car on a curve and slid into the southbound lane, troopers said.

Her car was hit by a southbound vehicle driven by Michael C. Stolp, 38, of Oakesdale. Stolp was taken to Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane with head injuries and lacerations. , DataTimes
