A 75-year-old Spokane man remained in stable condition at Deaconess Medical Center late Friday after a relative stabbed him three times, Spokane police said.
The unidentified victim called police about 8:05 p.m. and said that a family member was trying to kill him, Sgt. Dan Torok said.
When officers arrived at the home in the 1100 block of East Walton, they found the man with one stab wound in his neck and two in his chest, Torok said.
The man told police the name of the person who attacked him and officers were conducting a search late Friday, Torok said.
