West Valley Selects Lilac Princess

The fourth Lilac Festival princess was chosen Monday night.

Kara L. Foss, a West Valley High School senior, will represent her school. She is the daughter of Kristen Foss.

Foss, 18, is a member of the National Honor Society, the West Valley debate and softball teams. She is the president of West Valley DECA, a vacation Bible school teacher and works with annual baby food and Sharing Tree drives. She plans to attend Washington State University, the University of Idaho or Whitworth College and major in elementary education.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 18 at Ferris High School. , DataTimes
