Nethercutt Will Visit Bosnia Bases

Rep. George Nethercutt will travel to Bosnia this weekend as part of a congressional delegation visiting military bases in that country.

The bipartisan group will tour major installations in Sarajevo and Tuzla, as well as smaller outposts. The trip comes as Congress begins discussing next year’s military budget.

Nethercutt said he also hoped to visit Bosnian orphanages and discuss delays with adoptions of Bosnian children by American parents. A former adoption lawyer, Nethercutt said he hoped to find a way to streamline the process to move children out of substandard orphanages. , DataTimes
