Amber Lewis Named EV Lilac Princess

The seventh Lilac Festival princess was chosen Friday.

Amber D. Lewis, an East Valley High School senior, will represent her school. Her guardians are Jill and Jim Plumb and Mark and Michelle Smith.

Lewis, 18, is senior class president, a reading tutor and involved in Youth Leadership Spokane, Meals on Wheels, Bridging the Gap, and is on the cross country team.

She plans to attend Eastern Washington University and study American government and U.S. history.

One of the Lilac princesses will be named queen April 18 at a competition at Ferris High School. , DataTimes
