The Libby Teen Center is hosting an all-ages show Saturday. Featured bands will be Wicked Reign, The Junkets and Shuttlecock. Doors open at 8 p.m. Cost is $3. For more information, call 536-8152.

The deadline for entering the Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane’s 10th annual Compose Peace Essay contest is March 31.

To enter, briefly describe a conflict between two or more individuals and then describe in detail how the conflict could be resolved using basic conflict resolution elements. Essays may be written in teams or individually, approximately 1,000 to 1,200 words typed, double-spaced. For more information or entry forms, call 838-7870.

The Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council is presenting a youth conference at the Masonic Temple on April 24. Topics to be discussed include alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse, relationship violence, leadership skills and cultural diversity. The cost is $10 per person — this includes a T-shirt, lunch, and admission to a drug-free rally after the conference. Call 922-8383 for more information.

“So Your Teen is Driving,” a free program will be presented March 24 at North Central High and April 20 at West Valley High. The program will feature a video, talks from safety experts and stories from victims of accidents. There also will be informational displays and interactive demonstrations.
