Drug, Bomb Raid Suspect Linked To Lab

A man who eluded sheriff’s deputies after a January raid on a drug lab and bomb factory near Newport, Wash., is wanted in connection to a possible drug lab in Spokane.

Spokane police are looking for Ryan “Todd” Todd, 24, after the discovery Monday of chemicals and bomb-making equipment at a home at 2306 N. South Riverton.

Todd was last seen Jan. 29 when Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s deputies reported finding methamphetamine, pipe bombs and several loaded weapons when they raided a compound of trailers on rural property about six miles south of Newport.

Todd’s brother, Walter “Randy” Todd was jailed along with Jack K. Gannon.

“Todd” Todd escaped on a snowmobile believed stolen from Spokane.

Police did not say why they believe Todd is connected to the alleged east Spokane methamphetamine lab.

Chemicals and bomb equipment were discovered Monday about 4 p.m. after a two-week investigation led officers to believe methamphetamine was being cooked in the home, police said.

Officers had shut off traffic in a four-block area around the home. Many residents were asked to leave the area.

About 10 a.m., officers arrested a woman who lived in the home on an outstanding warrant. They did not enter the house at that point.

Two others were questioned and released.

Todd was not seen. He is wanted for an Oct. 30 escape from the Pend Oreille County Jail.

Todd was being held on a Pend Oreille County warrant for failure to pay child support. He also was held on a Spokane County warrant for being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

He is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. He also has a surgical scar on his left knee.

Anyone with information about Todd should call Secret Witness at 327-5111. A cash reward is offered for information leading to his capture.
