Rewards Offered For ‘Extinct’ Child Car Seats

From Staff And Wire Reports

There’s a bounty on that old child car seat in your garage.

Anyone turning in “extinct” car seats through the Idaho Bounty Program will get a $5 reward.

Extinct seats are those considered unsafe. Those are seats that are more than 10 years old, have been in a serious car crash, are missing parts, are damaged or are listed for destruction.

To turn in a seat and get your reward, call the Idaho CareLine at (800) 926-2588. The Idaho Bounty program will be in effect until May 30.

Sponsors of the bounty Program are the Panhandle Health District, the Idaho Transportation Department, State Farm Claims, Kudtsen Chevrolet and local police departments.
