Bonners Ferry Teen Run Over By Car

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Bonners Ferry girl was listed in stable condition Thursday after being hit by a car.

Brittany Raenn Schave, 17, was knocked unconscious Wednesday night after the car she was riding in pulled over to the side of the road, the Idaho State Police said.

Driver Arthur J. Prock, 23, was unaware Shave had gone to the front of the car and ran her over when he pulled the car back onto the road, Cpl. Brian Zimmerman said.

The accident happened about 7:20 p.m. along Westside Road near Copeland.

Prock drove Schave to Boundary County Community Hospital. She was later flown to Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane.
