Spokane Woman Is Killed In Head-On On Highway 395

A Spokane woman was killed Thursday in a head-on collision on state Highway 395 just north of Hatch Road, the Washington State Patrol said.
Connie M. Carlson, 38, was driving south on the highway in a 1993 Pontiac Sunbird about 7 a.m. when her car crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck driven by Fredrick T. Wageman, 27, of Spokane, troopers said.
Carlson was pronounced dead at the scene. Wageman suffered a broken nose.
