Girl Hit By Car Remains In Critical Condition
A 10-year-old Spokane girl hit by a car remained in critical but stable condition Sunday at Deaconess Medical Center, according to hospital staff.
Katherine West was struck just north of the Spokane city limits on Friday and suffered a head injury. The driver had swerved onto the right shoulder of Cascade Way to avoid the bright lights of an oncoming car, according to the Washington State Patrol.
