Gonzaga Plays WSU Today In Baseball Home Opener

A Gonzaga University baseball team starved for victories, finally gets a chance to play at home today when it takes on Washington State University at 2 p.m. at August/A.R.T. Stadium.

Today’s non-conference matchup against the Cougars (7-10) is the first of a five-game homestand that includes three WCC games against University of San Francisco this weekend.

GU and the Dons will play a single game Friday at 2 p.m. and a noon doubleheader Saturday.

WSU is coming off three consecutive Pacific-10 Conference losses at California. The Cougars are scheduled to open their home season Saturday at 1 p.m. against Oregon State.

WSU and the Beavers will play a noon doubleheader Sunday and a single game Monday at 1 p.m.
