North Side Gasoline Station Robbed

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man robbed the Exxon station at 1001 E. Wellesley early Thursday morning, Spokane police said.

The man told a clerk that he had a handgun, and lifted his sweat shirt slightly, but didn’t show a weapon, police said. The clerk, who said it was his second day on the job, was mopping the floor when the man entered, wearing a ski mask.

After the robber demanded money from the register and left, the clerk locked the business and called police. , DataTimes
