Rocks Thrown On Bridge

From Staff Reports

The Maple Street Bridge was closed for about 15 minutes Monday after a man started throwing rocks on cars, police said.

Officers were called to the north end of the bridge about 6:20 p.m. after a rock the size of a bowling ball was thrown onto the roof of a moving car, police said.

Several other large rocks were thrown at traffic from Ohio Avenue. In the confusion, several minor accidents occurred, police said. No one was injured.

There are no suspects, but witnesses described a white male in his 20s with dark hair. , DataTimes
