Riverbend Taxing District Upheld

A judge has upheld the legality of a special taxing district, allowing the district to sell bonds to pay for improvements to the area around the Riverbend Commerce Park.

The improvements are meant to attract businesses and therefore increase the tax base in Post Falls. One of the first things on the list will be road improvements to Lochsa Street, which should start this summer, Urban Planner Jerry Basler said.
