Clergy Invited To Professional Growth Seminar

The Spokane Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church will host a professional growth seminar for clergy from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The live seminar, called “Resurrecting the Resurrection,” is being broadcast by satellite to 400 locations around the world.

Seminar participants will be able to interact with the featured speakers and ask questions. All area clergy are invited to attend.

The featured speakers will be Charles E. Bradford, the former international church leader of the Seventh Day Adventist Church; W. Frank Harrington, senior minister of the Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta; Dwight K. Nelson, senior pastor of the Pioneer Memorial Church in Berrien Springs, Michigan; and Gardner C. Taylor, senior pastor emeritus of the Concord Baptist Church of Christ in Brooklyn, New York.

The free seminar is being sponsored by Ministry, an international journal for pastors.

Spring craft sale

Pasadena Park Church of the Nazarene, 8822 E. Upriver Drive, will host a “First Day of Spring” craft sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund a mission trip to Dominica.

Rummage sale

Christ Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway, will host its annual rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

Several large items will be for sale, including a pool table, furniture and a life-sized child’s playhouse.
