Karleine Cramer Chosen Student Of The Month

Karleine Cramer, a senior at Post Falls High School and daughter of Melody Cramer, has been chosen as the Post Falls Rotary Student of the Month for March.

Cramer, who maintains a 3.76 grade-point average, was chosen as the University of Idaho Top Scholar last year and is a member of the National Honor Society.

She is active in forestry, Idaho Drug Free Youth, pep, symphonic and marching band, Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratories, and received a $500 Presidential Scholarship from the Air Force ROTC.

Cramer plans to attend either the University of Idaho or the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, or leave for the Air Force in July.

Local 4-H Clubs recently participated in the Kootenai/Shoshone County Oral Presentation competition. Contestants received a blue, red or white ribbon for 5-15 minute oral presentations related to a 4-H project. Blue ribbon recipients will move on to participate in the 4-H District Activities Festival in Moscow in April. The divisions and winners are:

Junior Division

Blue ribbons: Cameron Smith, Erin Lionberger, Tara Lionberger, Nicole DuPont, Alise Johnson, Hillary Pruitt, Reilly Thomas, and Danielle Reid.

Red ribbons: Jenny Booth, Sara Smith, Mandi McCoy, Jessica Novak, Emily Pruit, Patty Robinson, Tara Roetter, Michael Stavish and Allison Weimer.

White ribbons: John Malak, SoonAe Paschall and Michael Paschall.

Intermediate Division

Blue ribbons: Karissa and Chantel Hardy, Hanna Smith, Leah Vetsch, Anne Radavich, Nicole Parker, Melodi Wyble, and Brittany Thurman.

Red ribbons: Stacey Orlando, Lindi Bonthius, Kaleena Fahland, Lauren Riley, Robin Rowland, Kelsy White and Kristen McMullin.

White ribbons: Tara Chisholm, Jenny Edington, Amber Biddle, Charlene Honcik, Carlee Park, Lindsey Stilwell and April Stavish.

Senior Division

Blue ribbons: Nathan Vetsch, Brian Carhart and Kasey Johnson.

Red ribbons: Luke Malak, Katie Edington, Morgan Harnasch, Molly Hearn and Britne Bedwell.
