Studded Tires Deadline Extended To April 6

The deadline for removal of studded snow tires has been extended to April 6 due to a winter storm warning forecast for the Cascades, said state Department of Transportation officials.

Motorists who will not be traveling across the mountains are still asked to remove their tires by today, but they are not required to do so.
