Blessing for pets Sunday

Unity Church of North Idaho, 4465 N. 15th, will have its annual pet blessing Sunday at 12:15 p.m. in the front yard of the church. There will be treats for dogs, and a veterinarian on hand to d. free nail clipping.

All critters are welcome! The Rev. Marilyn Muehlbach will do the blessing.

• The burglars who broke into Christ the King Lutheran Church, have been arrested. The two men and three teens are connected to a series of burglaries in North Idaho.

Pastor John Schmidt said that the congregation allowed the justice system to do its job and that they will do their job to help with the internal guidance of these young men.

“The congregation has a sense of sadness that people have to behave this way,” Schmidt said.

• Lutheran Church of the Master, 4800 Ramsey Road, will have only one service Sunday, at Camp Lutherhaven on Kidd Island Bay on Lake Coeur d’Alene.

The service will start at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a potluck. The new Associate Pastor Dave Kappuswill deliver the sermon. Kappus joined Lutheran Church of the Master Monday from Reardan.

• The drama/ministry team ACTS from Northwest College in Kirkland, Wash., will perform at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, at the Coeur d’Alene First Assembly, 2200 N. Seventh. The performance is free and open to the public.
